Special Olympics Chicago would not exist today without the time, energy, dedication and commitment of hundreds of volunteers throughout the city. Special Olympics relies on its dedicated volunteers.
Special Olympics’ energetic and dedicated volunteers are all ages and skill levels, including:
students senior citizens business people family members of athletes amateur and professional athletes and coaches Chicago civic leaders teachers and others
Volunteers fill a wide variety of roles for Special Olympics.
We invite you to share in the Special Olympics experience and create lifetime friendships and rewards of immeasurable value. Take pride in knowing that you are an important part of a program that offers opportunities to athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Every athlete is given the chance to participate and to win. We need your help to provide this opportunity to these athletes—and to cheer for them when they meet their goals.
Employee Involvement Special Olympics Chicago provides unique, fun volunteer opportunities for employees of all ages. These can be one-time experiences, short or long-term commitments. No specialized training is necessary.
